Fresh 48 photography is a special session for those new families who want the first few hours of their newborn’s life captured without having the entire labor or birth documented. Held within the first 24-48 hours of your baby’s life, these lifestyle sessions are perfect for remembering that first day forever. Shots of your little one’s first yawns, cute little baby feet, fingers, belly button will be documented. First feedings. Diaper changes. All of those amazing family meetings. Also, I will capture those quiet moments between you and your new little one, I will come to your home or place of birth. This is not a traditional newborn session; I will not pose the baby or bring props or lights. This will just be me capturing your baby’s sweet new moments in a fresh natural way!

   Your baby will be changing so fast – hour to hour, day to day. Capture those first milestones: herbal bath, breastfeeding, meeting siblings or family members, Dad’s first diaper change, going home from the hospital or simply just gazing at each other! This session captures moments like these that will soon be lost in the fog of your baby-moon. 

   Fresh 48 photography begins at $200,

a 50% nonrefundable retainer is required to book session because of it's unpredictable nature. 

• The Fresh 48 session takes place during daylight hours, within the first 48 hours of birth.

  I like to be there as quickly after the birth as possible, so call me as soon as labor is confirmed.

• It can take place at the hospital, birth center or at home and will last approximately 60-90 minutes.

• Lifestyle photography – unposed, natural or available light. A mix of black and white and soft color images.

• Includes 50 digital images with print release.
